Celebrating Love

Today marks my parents anniversary. Their love was one more than worth celebrating, which they did together at every moment they got.

I always admired the respect they had for each other and could see their love in the twinkle of their eyes. Especially when they danced together, you could see the same bright love that they had kindled all those years earlier.

My mom and dad were partners, lifting each other up, encouraging each other, and living a life of integrity of love. They shared that love with everyone they met.

Thanks for setting such a great example, Mom and Dad. I miss you every day. I’m sure you are dancing together in heaven today.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast. . . . Love never ends. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
